Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment and machinery.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using power tools and diagnostic equipment.
Conduct root cause analysis to identify the source of problems and implement effective solutions.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and CAD models to guide repair processes.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Inspect aircraft structures and related components
Restore or repair defects using unique aircraft fastening hardware, ferrous and non-ferrous materials, composite materials, chemicals, adhesives, paints and textiles.
Manufacture and install aircraft structural components for prototype projects.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role.
Proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipment.
Familiarity with CAD software for interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
Understanding of AS9100 quality standards for aerospace industry (preferred).
Ability to perform equipment repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to conduct root cause analysis.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in aviation maintenance.
Knowledge of FAA regulations and safety protocols.
Note: Military experience in a related field is highly valued.
